The irresistable desire to be irresistibly desirable

“The course of true love never did run smooth.” – William Shakespeare

This past year brought ups and downs. It brought uncertainty. It meant letting go of previous notions of what love is and what I need it to be. It taught me to find romance in the every day – making dinner together, kisses in the morning, and tea when I’m sick. Every day I’m growing, and so it only makes sense that our love changes and grows too.

I made B a book that tells our story. It consists of smiles and sunshine and words about how much he means to me. Behind the photos are tears and stress and fear that what we have is not enough. Looking back through our story is the perfect reminder that what we have is real life – and it is wonderful.

Love, for me, is more than a feeling. It’s a decision. Loving when it’s good is the easy part, loving during the other times – well that’s true love.

Love is nothing exciting life, simple is love, too complex to create out of love intentionally.
