About

I am a redheaded wine drinking, mountain exploring, cookie baking, knitting and crocheting, photo snapping, Edmontonian PR girl, formerly from small town Ontario.

I’m a politics junkie: I have an undergraduate degree in political science with a minor in philosophy. I recently spent a lot of my time hovered over textbooks, earning a masters degree in professional communications.

I remember watching politicians speak on T.V. as a young girl, knowing that someone wrote those speeches but not knowing how to have that job. After studying the Prime Ministers in elementary school, I knew that I wanted to make a difference too. It wasn’t until I shirked law school for public relations that I found that role: I enjoy putting words in peoples’ mouths. I care deeply about democracy and the role of discourse between politicians and their constituents.

I love to explore my city, hang out with the boyfriend, and send cookies in the mail to my favourite people. I have approximately 14 pairs of shoes at work, am always armed with lip gloss (though I’m terrible at remembering to wear it), and my nails are rarely bare.
